I currently am running Visual Studio Express and programming in C#. I want to be able to start new projects for Android devices AND create new Swift projects. I can do this via Xamarin AND this software called Elements Silver: http://www.elementscompiler.com/elements/silver/default.aspx

However, I'm having difficulty understanding how to combine this all into one installation of Visual Studio 2015. If I go to the Xamarin site, it says I can install Visual Studio with Xamarin and if I go to the Elements Silver site (cited above), it says I can install Visual Studio with the Swift software... I want Visual Studio with BOTH. Is this possible? I don't want to go install Xamarin and then the Elements Silver only to have it overwrite or otherwise mess up my Visual Studio installation so that I can no longer use Xamarin and vice versa.

Sorry if this seems super elementary, I am pretty confused about Visual Studio in general. I'm not even sure what the difference between Community and Express is. I think I may understand C# better than the IDE LOL.

Why don't you try and if it didn't work (and I doubt) you simply uninstall VS then Install. Remember that this is a C# forum, you may need to refer to the VS forum or Xamarin VS froum for a better assistance
