Hello Eric,

Hi Support,

I have two Lists which are List A and List B. Both list contain the same multi-select lookup column. List B record must be created from List A record. List A display form has a create button to create List B record and pass the List A record ID using query string. I would like to get the multi-select lookup column selected value from List A using List A id (query string) and default the value to list B. I would like to know how to do it using JavaScript?

Regards,

Eric

Hello Eric,

What I understand is on "LIST B " you want few column value which is lookup eg "Name" "ID" etc to automatically get synced or display when value to defined on "LIST B"

You can try to Auto-populate the column value in Infopath form using "LIST A" ID parameter.

I did something similar on our environment, But that was to pull the user information from "User profile"

https://blogs.technet.microsoft.com/anneste/2011/11/02/how-to-create-an-infopath-form-to-auto-populate-data-in-sharepoint-2010/

Or you can also use Workflow to "Set" particular item  value similar to "LIST A"

You might have to experiment, But Workflow would be easier and simple solution.

Hope this Help :)
