I'm on a SharePoint 2013 farm and we have a site collection A for department A with document library A. This document library has several document sets and each document set has unique permissions, for example document set A. We gave person B (from another department) contribute rights on document set A but she keeps getting an access denied. If we give her view only-rights on document library A she can access document set A, but than she can also access the other document sets and view the documents within the other document sets. We don't want that.
