In the event that some of the services were failing to run on one of our SharePoint 2010 environment, we have planned to move our SharePoint web applications to another existing SharePoint server. The SharePoint SQL databases for these both servers, exist on one different common server. Please let me know the migration path and if these require any DNS config changes. The Url needs to be same as one on previous server. A step by step suggestion will be greatly appreciated.

You can backup your content DB and restore to new farm.
