I am currently working in creating an installer for a driver for all Windows OS after Windows Vista. Before the installer begins installation, I would like to create a system restore point as part of installation before file changes begin. When i was researching for an API I found that SystemRestore API found here https://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/windows/desktop/aa378958%28v=vs.85%29.aspx is not useful for Windows Server. In other terms WMI service is not providing me object for Windows Server. Is there any other APIs that can be used for this purpose, specifically programmatically create restore points for Windows server ??
