Today I opened a particular C# solution that is bound to TFS.  I can right click on a file in the solution and check out files.  However, when I open a .cs file or a .config file and start typing, VS2013 IDE does not respond to my keystrokes.  It's like the file is readonly (even though it isn't). I have tried restarting the IDE and same problem.  

Note, I can open other TFS bound solutions and edit the files normally.  Something is wonky with this solution.

If other solutions worked well, at least, we could make sure that it is not the VS IDE issue.

To make sure that whether it is related to your solution, one idea is that you could create a blank solution, and then add the project files to the new blank solution, clean and rebuild the whole solution, edit it again.

Or you could remvoe .suo file in your solution folder, re-open the project file, and then you could check in and check out your project, edit it again.
