I have created a custom new form for my Survey list using SharePoint 2010 designer. The issue is by default it is showing the ribbon menu in disabled mode. I do not want the edit ribbon menu to be shown to the users but show the browse menu instead.

I tried hiding the Edit menu with CSS but that does not enable the browse menu. Any help appreciated.
