In a very complex project if I know that foobar() is executed, but don’t know when, one might generate a sequence diagram to inspect that.

However when the sequence is really complex and traverse 3 or 4 layers of calling, the size of the sequence diagram is much larger than a single screen and it becomes very hard to visually identify any specific text. However, it appears that searching cannot be done here.

I also looked at the saved .sequencediagram file. However the mapping from such file to the graph is not straightforward.

You can search the sequence diagram like any other file.

1. 打开查找和替换对话框(CTRL + F).

2. In the Look in, select Current Document.
3. Search for your item.
