Hi, evry time i connect my usb to a usb 1.1 hub connected to my computer, and plug in a USB 2.0 device, a baloon tip comes up telling me this device can perform faster.
I know it can perform faster if i connect it to a usb 2.0 connected on my computer and not on my usb hub, but i only have a hub because i have multiple usb's attached to my computer.
is their any way to stop windows notifying me if a device can perform faster.
Yes i have also tried the built in option (the little checkox that says tell me if my device can perform faster)
but every time i dissconnect the usb an connect it again, windows notifies me and the check box that i Unticked is mysteriously ticked again, as if it resets everytime I unplug a device
this is extremely annoying and i dont know if its a bug, but is there any way of stopping these notifications by making the "notify me if the device can perform faster" option actually work and not reset unless i change it
