i have a requirement to find in sharepoint all office documents that have been set a password on them. why passwords were set i don't know or need to know but i have been asked to find them all. is anyone aware of how this can be achieved?

Thanks for posting , from your description , my understanding is some documents have set Password by office application in a library or list , and you want to filter and find out which document have been set the password before .

I have done some research and test , I found if a document was set password by Office application , the document will not be crawled , if you search this item in search box , it will not return the result .
