In addition, I assume that you got this issue maybe because the Excel2013 version is not compatible with VS2012. I suggest that you can try to use the VS2013 to recreate Load Test Excel Report if you have another machine with VS2013. And if you have another machine with VS2012, you also can do load test and then generate report from that machine to check whether there is anything wrong with your VS2012.
