As my understanding, if the app crashed, our test (for example, the coded UI test) would be failed, since it couldn’t playback the action recorded in your app UI. So if the app crashes, we would check the reason why it crashes, I’m afraid that restart your VS and reopen this app or restart the test is not a solution for this issue, since it would crash again even if we could reopen/restart it.
