I am using Azure SQL Database to log data from arduino. I am fairly new to SQL and i am using azure to log data into mysql database created on azure. I have created the website, server and a blank database. As per this link : https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/azure/mysql/connect-php

The .php files detailed in the below tutorial are intended to be run from your localhost, likely from an on-premise laptop/workstation or from an Azure VM that has the PHP runtime installed. The tutorial is not written in such a way that the .php is embedded in a PHP website. This is not saying that is cannot be done. The .php examples are to be run manually from a PHP runtime environment from your laptop/workstation, over an internet connection. Additionally, you will need to set a firewall rule to allow traffic from the IP address your are attempting to connect from.
