If you develop a patient journal system and if a doctor read a journal of a specific person and suddenly another doctor wants to read this patient's journal. However, you cannot open it because it is locked and being read another doctor.  When this doctor is done reading, this journal is available for another doctor to read.

Just wondering about how to create this functionality in relation to asp.net mvc and wpf? Maybe using Signal R?
