An error occurred while loading the model for the item or data source EntityDataSource .  Verify that the connection information is correct and that you have permissions to access the data source."

 

注意 :

Note :   This issue occurred for power view report that read data from a model inside Excel file as data source in SharePoint.

When opening the data source definition and check connection for that data source using Stored Credentials it says "cannot make a connection to the data model" and note that the POWERPIVOT instance is added to Excel Service also note that the excel is running fine when we open it alone, also the power view report is work fine when change the data source from Excel to SSAS. So what will be the cause when make excel as data source?
