It seem that notebook drivers for ATI in Windows 7 RC is poorly supported compared to NVidia chipsets. I have been testing Windows  7 RC on several platforms and one notebook is equiped with the Radeon Mobility 9000 128MB dedicated video. Performance it extremely slow  and largely due to the generic VGA driver being used. Many hours of searching reveals that support for this in Windows 7 as in Vista does not exist. Some other drivers are hard to find but the video is crucial to the OS performing properly.

Will there be driver in the final release? Anyone no otherwise I will revert that notebook back to XP  again once I am done or the license expires.
