An interesting question came up today. if it costs £0.299 Per Million Queries, what happens if someone realizes you are using Azure DNS and decides to be a clever D, and starts bursting your DNS with requests. this could very quickly become expensive.

I do not believe that Azure DNS has any existing protection about this sort of attack. In the even that this occurred, I would recommend speaking with Azure Support & Billing to see if they could assist in any way.
