I am trying to connect to azure blob storage and import data from an xls file into Azure SQL Data base.

Ive loaded in a basic xls into Azure blob storage

I can look at it fine in Microsoft Azure Storage explorer

However if I open in Azure it looks like this (See below) And it errors in data factory because this is what data factory sees

Ive been able to import csvs from blob successfully.

Has anyone else had this issue. Im starting to worry that you cant put xls into blob storage
