I have a gateway computer that came with an installation cd. Later, i bought the same model computer from gateway from ebay as mine had a hardware problem. This second computer worked fine until, for some reason, I could no longer start windows, due to an "UNMOUNTABLE_BOOT_VOLUME" error and blue screen. I know this error means I can't load windows from my hard drive, so I thought, well, maybe I should just reinstall windows xp from my disk. When I got the disk out of its container (which I had never opened), it prompty cracked in half. I still have the registration codes and everything else I need, but I still need a cd. I can't load floppy disks either, becuase the only computers I have that have floppy disk drives are the two listed above, which are both broken. I wondered if microsoft offered downloads of xp reinstallation files for cd, as they do for floppies.
