I am getting an error when I try to publish using a custom membership provider.  The error occurs in the web.config where the custom membership provider is referenced saying that the file cannot be found.  I have included my membership provider .dll in the ServerGenerated project and ensured that Copy Local is set to true.

I have seen an older post similar to this but it simply mentions referencing the membership provider dll in the ServerGenerated project which I have already done.  Also, I have seen a post explaining that one should add the .dll as a project publish file.  I have tried this with no luck as well although I am not sure why this would fix the issue. 

Any help with this would be appreciated.

I would just manually put the .dll in the bin of the published LightSwitch application.
