I'm evaluating LightSwitch to build our Administration Module for a SL App.  We are using SL 4, WCF RIA Services, PRISM and my goal is intergrate the LightSwitch App into our existing SL App using PRISM.

I need to make the port static so when developing in Cassini, the LightSwitch XAP will get downloaded at runtime.  I don't want to have to deploy to locall IIS. I would rather keep all my Web Sites in Cassini with Static Ports assigned.  I opened the ServerGenerated.csproj File and set the AutoAssignPort=False, but that did not work.

I am not sure cassini will work. But if it does, I might just deploy locally to IIS7 at each cycle.  Have a cassini web site point to the dir of the IIS site.  So cassini VDIR will point to physical path of IIS deployment.  In the end, I think your running uphill on that requirement.  I would instead using IIS for everything and figure a way to make that work.
