Hi. I would appreciate any suggestions on how to successfully install Visual Studio 2008 Professional Edition.
The install completed normally BUT upon opening Visual Studio, I encounter the following errors (and possibly more) for the following Packages.
Prior to this version I had the RTM installed. I had removed it and attempted to install the upgrade that I purchased.
I strongly suspect that there are registry entries that must be removed. Any ideas?

Which edition of Visual Studio RTM did you install before Visual Studio 2008 Professional Edition?
For your concern that the previous Visual Studio has not been removed completely, you can try Auto-Uninstall Tool to uninstall ALL components installed with Visual Studio 2008 products. Then try repairing Visual Studio 2008 Pro.
If it doesn't work, please try running devenv.exe /setup, devenv.exe /resetskippkgs in order to see if the problem persists.
