We have an Office 365 SharePoint calendar which we need to be accessible publically (ideally on a website) without users having to log in to view it.

With a Google calendar it's very straight forward to publish and embed in a website but Microsoft seem to make it so difficult. Does anyone know if this can be done or if there is a work around to maybe sync the SharePoint calendar with a Google one which can then be viewed on a site?

Can you please create the Calendar View from your calendar list and then add it  to your Site Page, you can create the new site page and share the page with external user.

To Share the Page you need to go Site Pages" folder as shown in this image.

While Share the page, Not to forget to uncheck the "Require Sign-In. So your user can view the site without any login credentials when they clicked the link on their email .This featured called "Guest Link" in O365.
