I created site under our main SharePoint site by going to the gear on our main page - sites and settings - sites and workspaces - then create.   In our navigation menu, 4 of the buttons have sites that have a URL structure similar to ww.xyzsite.com/sites/mysite except for mine, which is missing /sites/.  Could anyone tell me what I might have overlooked?  Is there another option for creating a site within a site than creating a new site under sites and workspaces?
