we have a web server (Windows 2008 R2 and IIS 7) that runs two different web sites, each on its own unique IP address. The websites host several ASP.Net applications and each also the same LightSwitch (Administrator) application. The LS app uses forms authentication.

The weard thing is that only one of the LS applications can be accessed at a time; simultaneous access to the other one will fail. After a time out (I believe one hour) the other one can be accessed but then the first one will fail. It is also possible to have both fail sometimes.

In case the access fails the following error is displayed on the screen: "An authorized request was made to the server.  Please contact a network administrator". Logging with fiddler shows a first error saying something like "a domain services exception". Next is a 404 error on /Microsoft.LightSwitch.Client;component/screens/screenpresentation/internalframework/resources/resources/x.png but I believe that this is caused by the first error.

Only a question at the mo'. What flavour SQL Server are you running for each app? May give the answer if it's Express. Just a thought.
