Can any one provide any feedback on experience with LightSwitch used in a team development project. I was thinking of migrating one of our older VFP apps into Lightswitch which seems easy enough if just one developer handeled the project. However, I am concerned about the capabilities of sharing the project across a couple developers. Ie. one build the entities, another developer work on a few screens, etc... Since the project is really just a Visual Studio project, one would think this would not be an issue but I was jsut curious if anyone has worked in this manner with LS...

You have to be careful with multiple people editing a LiughtSwitch project, due to so much information being stored in a single lsml file. I've heard it's "possible", if people are working on totally separate pices of the project (then the "merges" shoulkd be fairly clean) , but if not you may end up with a situation where one person's changes cause a problem for another person's changes.

It's not a scenario that is currently "supported" by the tream, so you do so at your own risk. with care, it should be possible, but it's not going to be as straight forward as a plain VS project. It only takes *one* error in the lsml file to prevent the project from loading.

So if you do decide to go ahead & do it, takes FREQUENT backups of the lsml file (or with TFS, I guess check your work in OFTEN).
