I am trying to upgrade from VS2k8/ICC11.1 to VSk10/ICC12.0. According to what I read, upgrading the project directly is error-prone so I have created a brand new VSk10 solution, added all the files, switch to ICC12.0 for the compiler and set a few include/linker directories in the project settings.

I have cross-posted this to the Intel Software developer tools forum since I can't really be sure whether it's Visual Studio or Intel Composer to blame (or some funky interaction between them). I can post more information (or the entire sanitized build logs) if needed -- this is a major frustration to have to rebuild everything when any source file changes.
