I have lost the sound on my laptop. Have been looking for audio downloads, keep getting error messages stating I need to download a 'bus driver first.  How do I get a 'bus driver and sound back? Have tried driver detective but not any use because of the 'bus driver' missing.  Has anyone ever heard of this?  My laptop is an Acer Aspire 5103WLMi, purchased 2 years ago, using Windows XP Home Edition.
