I'm currently using VisualStudio 2008 Shell for scripting in Unreal Tournament 3 (I'm not fully sure exactly what version, or if there is only one version, but the download link can be found here: http://pixelminegames.com/unrealeditor.aspx )

Now, if I double-click a particular script file, it opens the file in VisualStudio - fair enough, that's exactly what I need.

But, the problem arises when I need to open a second/third/fourth script file (which I nearly always have to) - if I double-click a new script file, it opens a new window, rather than a new tab (I could go through File -> Open File and that, but it's alot of bother and I'd rather just open all related script files at the same time)

Is there any way to get files which I double-click on (as opposed to using File -> Open) to open in a new tab of the current window? I tried adding them to a project file, but it doesn't seem to want to accept the files (if I try to open the project, absolutely nothing happens, no files open even though I did add the files to the project)

A user on another forum suggested that I do this:
Tools > Options > Environment > General > Window Layout > Tabbed documents

but that only seems to work when I open files through File -> Open...
