Hello,

I have list in sharepoint which has the columns  arte of traiing,start date and end date. I added two AE Filter Web Parts to filter the Dates. The problem is it is only filtering to a specific date. For example:

My List

Footbal Training; Start Date: 10/03/2016 ; End Date: 10/05/2016

Volleyball Training; Start Date: 10/05/2016 ; End Date: 10/15/2016

Hockey Training; Start Date: 10/20/2016 ; End Date: 10/30/2016

e.g. I want to see which trainings are between the third october and the 30. October. Im choosing Ocober 3 in Start date and October 30 in End Date. 

and no result can be found is displayed, because the start dates relates to "Start date" and end date to "End date". But I need to know how I can upgrade my Filters so my Filters Start- and End date sets a area upon the list where multiple list entrys are displayed

Hi,

Here is a solution for your reference:

Here is my Sport list which is similar with yours.

First, we should edit out AllItems.aspx via SharePoint Designer. Click "Edit list" as below:

Then, click "All Items" in SharePoint Designer and edit this page with "Advanced Mode" next.

Next, Insert a Data View of your list inside the "<ZoneTemplate>" tag.

Then ,we will see the new list web part that we just created. Now we add two new parameters to this list for receiving parameters from Date filter web part.

After we finished adding parameters, we need to use these two parameters to set filter for our list column, then click the "save" button to Save your change in SharePoint Designer.

Then, refresh our browser, we will see two list web part in AllItems.aspx page, one is original and another is we created. Next, we need to set the connection of Date Filter web part. Do like below:

Then, click "Edit Web Part" to set a default value.

Go through the same process with the another date filter web part.

Now save the page and open it back up in your browser and you will see what you want !
