Hi,

I am currently using Visual Studio 2005 Pro for a winform application. Source control is through source safe. Whenever I build the project, there is a pause, which hold up my next line of action on the visual studio editor. I have tried checking my computer (it's a VM session on Vista) free hard disk (currently at 1.2 GB) and even tried disabling the visual studio debug host process and the issue still exists. Moreover, I am building a release version and not a debug version.

I need some advice to point me in the right direction.

take alook at options -> windows forms designer -> auto populate toolbox. if that's turned on, turn it off.
