I have got these questions from a customer. I am pretty sure they are not supported in SharePoint or even other DMS but just asking maybe there is a solution. Or how do we explain it to the customer that this is out of the scope of DMS?

Basically, the customer will have all these files stored in DMS. Users will access files in READ only mode i.e. they must not be able to download, take print screen or send it to the printer.

For office documents I guess there is a security group called "viewer" which can only view documents in the browser and cannot download but what about other extensions?

You'll never get around that with SharePoint. Print screen is a windows thing.

Are they in a domain? You could possibly use a GPO to disable print screen with a regedit maybe. Downloads though are another thing.
