 Hi,

In SharePoint 2010 environment. When working with SharePoint through the browser (IE11), users are repeatedly asked to re-authenticate with their PIV cards. There doesn’t appear to be any discernable pattern as to when this occurs, but asking users to continually re-authenticate to do their work is really annoying. Any thoughts you might have on the cause(s) of this issue would be greatly appreciated.

Hi Satish Dugasani, 

Please try to add the URL site into the "Local Intranet Sites" and trusted sites section:

1. In Internet Explorer, open the Internet Options. 

2. Go to Security tab, click the "Local Intranet Sites" section. Click "Advanced" and add your site URL to the "Local Intranet".

3. Click "Custom Level" button, scroll down to the bottom and select "Automatic logon with current username and password" radio button.

4. Click OK to save your change.
