Hello,

I've been trying to update my ssl certificate for my website that is deployed on Azure cloud services. I've been using the steps here https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/azure/cloud-services/cloud-services-configure-ssl-certificate-portal but it still hasn't worked.

I have already updated my ServiceConfiguration.Cloud and local file, ServiceDefinition.csdef file and updated the thumbprint to the new one. Under my cloud services > settings >configuration it shows the new SSL certificate thumbprint but when I click on the production site, it still shows the old certificate. However in my staging site the new certificate does show with the new thumbprint. I also removed my old certificate from the Certificates tab so I'm still unsure to why the old certificate shows up on the site.

I've also found a similar question be asked here and followed the directions from the answer provided:

I was wondering does this have to do with the CSR or where I installed the certificate? cloud services does not have a server I can actually go to and create/install that so I just used my localhost.

You could try logging into the Cloud Service VM itself and installing the cert manually. 

If you go to the portal -> Cloud Services -> Roles and Instances -> Remote Desktop -> Enable 

Once you setup username and credentials save the settings. 

Then on your cloud service select Roles and Instances -> Select a Role 

A window will pop up and you will see Connect, Reboot, reimage

Select Connect and enter the credentials you just setup. 

Install the cert on the machine and try again.
