I am developing a DX9 application and since yesterday when I try to debug the application, the IDE won't start the application.
If I build the application and then run the executable it will run fine but it won't run out of the IDE. This makes debugging very difficult and I have no clue why it started to do this.
Win version is Vista Business x64, VS2005 Team Foundation edition SP1 and the vista patch. The project is based on emptyDX project from the November 2007 DX SDK. Language I am using is C++.

What i added was a function to clone a mesh and compute the normals since then it won't debug for me anymore. If i comment the line were i call this function out the application will start from the IDE. Not it wont even start the application if i add a breakpoint in the IDE.

Can somebody please tell me what is wrong or how i can fix this.

Hi,

There isn't much information to go on here. Do you get any error when you launch the application under the debugger? Be sure to look at the output window in addition to any messages that may pop-up. Also what happens if you try and do Debug -> Start without debugging i.e CNTRL + F5?
