I am using a dell aio 942 printer.  When trying to use the scan or fax functions of this printer I get the following error message:

I have tried, without success, to get dell to give me a solution to this problem.  I don't have visual c++ installed on my computer so don't understand why I am getting this error message when trying to use printer functions.
