I am using sharepoint 2013 and ms office is 2016. Whenever i am opening any file in my sharepoint site it says "due to problems on the server the file cannot be downloaded for editing. Click here to save of copy of the file". And when i am opening powerpoint it shows a blank ppt. I am unable to view, edit and save any data on those files. Can anyone please help me in understanding the issue of my sharepoint site.?

What’s the version of your Office 2016 and browser?

Make sure the office 2016 and browser have same version that all of them are 32-bit/64-bit.

Go to Internet Options -> connections -> LAN settings -> untick "automatically detect settings".
