I am a beginner in sharepoint development. I am doing something simple but I couldn't find a proper answer searching online. So, kindly please guide me through this.

I am trying to remove a css property that is available in SuiteNav.css stylesheet. Since I can't edit that file, I am trying to do it in a custom stylesheet. Basically, what I want is to remove a property lets say Padding-left:5px

I need to remove that property completely from SuiteNav.css by doing it in my custom stylesheet.

I did use F12 developer tools to uncheck that property and tested for my results. It is working great in F12. But I can't modify the same thing in my custom stylesheet. I can modify the padding-left to some other value but cannot remove it. How do I do this?

hello, in css you can't remove properties which are coming from other css file. You may create the same property with different value and !important keyword.
