I'm having trouble with a list workflow (2010 wkflw platform, SharePoint 2013). I've put a "Collect data.." action in my workflow that does send a notification email to the user. The email has a good link to the list item, and opens the item for editing, but doesn't show the "Open this Task" button. The user is able to edit and save the item, but the task (and workflow) is left suspended. I can open the task and complete it behind the scenes, but I need it to work for the assigned user in order for my workflow to continue. Why would the Task button not be shown?
