I am using F# outside of Visual Studio.  According to the info, 4.5 will uninstall 4.0.

If I install .NET 4.5, will it adversely affect my existing F# applications?  Or will they still run without recompilation?

.net 4.5 is a superset of .net 4, just as 3.0 and 3.5 were supersets of 2.0

I've been running with .net 4.5 installed on my development machines since the beta, and the .net 4 applications work just fine, and transfer to machine wit just 4.0 installed with no problems.
