Hi, I have an IIS site that when browsed gives me a blue flash screen.

It is having same settings in my both test and live environment, but test is working fine, however the live one is giving error.

Now interesting part is, when I give the host entry in C:\Windows\System32\drivers\etc\hosts file, it doesn't throw me error and appears fine. Commenting out the host entry again, will start throwing me error.

Checked bindings and compared it with my test environment; all seem good.

1. Check the dns entry. Make sure it is correct.

2. Are you able to ping the url without host entry (is it pointing to correct server).
