Hi, I tried to add my company domain (puttiapps.com) to our AAD in our Azure subscription, I added the TXT record as requested, but when I click on Verify, an error message appears:

This domain has been previously configured on an existing Azure AD or Office 365. To verify this domain name, you will first need to remove the domain name from the existing directory.

How can I discover which subscription the domain is associated to and get the email of the admin for that subscription?

We need this sorted because we have been accepted as MS Cloud Partners and need to bring our existing emails to AAD.

Any help would be really appreciated.

If you are sure from your end that the Domain has not been verified to a known Tenant/Service as per your knowledge, it could be that the domain was added to a shadow tenant pertaining to various Microsoft Online Services.

That being the case, you can follow the steps detailed in the document - Take over an unmanaged directory as Administrator in Azure AD. This should allow you to take over the shadow tenant. Then you could delete the domain from the tenant. And verify the same to the tenant that you are looking for.
