I've had a problem with my SQL Data warehouse today when someone dropped a few tables and we could not identify who(nobody raised their hand as well). When I found about the "sys.dm_pdw_exec_requests" DMV it was too late as it only returns the last 10000 records. Is there any way to retrieve more records or find a specific action(DROP OBJECT for example) that happened before the last 10000 requests.

Are you aware of or have you used SQL database auditing? I could not find a means to effectively identify the past X actions but, if you enable database auditing for the specific events you are interested in tracking, you will have the information the next time a scenario like this plays out.
