I am trying to define a query rule andd when I run the correspondings query nothing happens ( its as if the rule doesn't exist).

As you can see -the query does have results when I test it :

Am I doing something wrong? I would expect to see these 6 results at the top of the search resulls..

In the Configure Query field, I suggest you type "{subjectTerms}", and build your custom query by clicking Launch Query Build button.
