I would like to add some code to my application where if the user presses the enter key it will add a row to my table , i have the code for the adding record i need to know how to code the hotkey/shortcut key into the program in a web app , all tutorials i have seen are for windows forms. Do i have to use Jquery or would i be able to do it in VB.net?

VB.NET code runs on the server and is therefore useless. Here[^] is an article on keyboard shortcuts on the web, but if your user is typing in to a field, you can add an event handler to that field and when they hit enter you can make the form post back or send data with AJAX.
