You can run the 32 bit application in a 64 bit environment. However, depending on the situation it could be that you don''t have necessary drivers, libraries etc in order for the program to run.

VB6 was ended long time ago. Instead of converting the VB6 program to work in 64 bit environment, I strongly suggest that you move on to VB.NET (or even C#).
