We have custom document library in SharePoint; In that library there are multiple metadata columns present. When we try to edit properties of document it fails with error "The SPListItem being updated was not retrieved with all taxonomy fields." This error message gets displayed to all taxonomy fields.

I checked binding of all taxonomy fields it is proper also tried to reset settings still issue persist. Also when I copied document to another library of same configuration, document successfully copied there along with proper values selected in taxonomy. so it seems issue exists in specific library only and not with site columns or content types.

Please go to Central Administration->Manage Web Applications, select the web application, and then choose the dropdown under General Settings select Resource Throttling, increase List View Lookup Threshold to a large number.
