i have been tryng to install the versions of sql and visual studio but facing the compatibility probs as ma laptop is 64bit operating system could u plz provide me the links of both visual studio and sql server which is compatible with 64bit os 320 gb ram windows 7 home basic ma laptop is sony vaio e - series model no (vpceb34en) plz help me so that i can study asp and data base accordingly .........

The standard version will work fine: I run Win7 64 with SQLServer Express 2008R2 and VS2010 Pro (but the express version will work fine as well).

I would install SQL server first, as VS will use that installation instead of creating it''s own, older, more limited version.
Certainly with earlier versions of VS I had difficulties if I installed VS first, then SQL.

Links are not necessary - you can get them direct from Microsoft. Google "SQL Server Download" and "Visual Studio Download".
