Sorry, something went wrongType 'Microsoft.SharePoint.WebControls.EmbeddedFormField' does not have a public property named 'div'.

This issue is easily replicated, you just need to create a SitePage via Site Contents in a SharePoint Online Site. Then open the sitepage in SharePoint Designer, and allow advanced mode. Then save the page. After the page is saved the error:

Type 'Microsoft.SharePoint.WebControls.EmbeddedFormField' does not have a public property named 'div'.

is thrown.

What I would like to know ,is how do I edit a page and insert HTML inbetween these elements? I would like to insert multiple list views between divs so I can hide/show as required.

Hi,

The ‘Site Page’ is SharePoint online new feature named as modern page. We can’t edit it in SharePoint designer currently as per my knowledge.

You could edit the new ‘Site Page’ from UI and insert list view as you want.

For example:

If you want to edit the page by SharePoint designer, you could try with wiki page/ web part page instead.

 

Tip: we could do customization for ‘Site Page’ by SharePoint add-in app part or SPFX framework currently.
