Working on a project to migrate from Sharepoint 2010 to 2016 version.  Current version 2010 is customised and I believe moving to SP2016 it will break or need re-creation.  Is there anywhere I can find list of changes to functionalities in SP2016.  Please provide your advice.

Just to remind you database upgrade won't be supported or even feasible from SP2010 to SP2016. So, you need to build Sp2013 and SP2016 if you're exploring this approach.

Another approach is which also only way to upgrade on your scenario is using of third party tools. Like Sharegate, Metalogix, quest and others. In regards of customization none of them can guarantee that. If you've custom solution developed in Visual studio then this should be rewritten to work in SP2016. But, customization done using SharePoint designer will most likely upgraded with these tools.
